We require anyone considering rehoming an Animal Samaritans dog meet the following essential Criteria:
You are over 18 years old.
You do not have children under the age of 6 in your home or visiting at any time.
You will not be leaving your dog alone for periods of more that four hours in any 24 hour period without human company.
If you live in rented, housing association or council owned property you have, or can obtain permission to have a dog from your landlord or agent prior to a home visit. (Please note we will be unable to continue with the process of Rehoming without this).
You are prepared to be responsible for all routine and non-routine costs in relation to the dog (these include diet, annual vaccinations, six monthly worming and bi-monthly flea prevention).
You have access to a safe enclosed area in which the dog can toilet.
You are willing to submit to a home check before you will be granted approval for a rehome dog from Animal Samaritans.
