Our aim is to provide visitors to the site with everything they need to know to plan a trip to the Lyceum Theatre, including how to buy tickets. We offer lots of information about the current show, The Lion King, including a synopsis and description, videos, photos, critics’ reviews, cast information, and running times and dates in addition to ticket prices and booking details, as well as leaving a space for theatregoers to contribute their own show reviews. Directed and designed by Julie Taymor, The Lion King is an awe-inspiring, spectacular journey through the African savannah, with more than forty actors working with large-scale puppets to bring a menagerie of jungle animals to live. Taymor’s stunning designs earned her an Olivier Award for Best Costume, with the production winning a massive six Tony Awards including Best Musical and Best Director.
